For the duration of Art Basel Los Angeles-based artist Oscar Tuazon, presents his new work «Zome Alloy» at the Messeplatz in Basel. The architectural structure was conceived as an adaptation of Steve Baer's 1972's «Zome House» and will house a series of events throughout the week. Among a present day edition of the original «Alloy Conference» from 1969, Zome Alloy will house a contribution of Masterstudio Design followed by a workshop with Olafur Eliasson.

Masterstudio Design’s contribution aims to share its belief in the creative potentials of cross-pollination of disciplines, events and people. On Friday, 17 June 2016 «Zome Alloy» will host a participatory exhibition with works by Ephraim Ebertshäuser, Julia Leitmeyer, and Thomas Lommée directed by Armin Blasbichler.
