«Come , let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.» – We speak different languages. We come from different cultural and familial backgrounds, and our communication is dependent on non-verbal communication. We act how we would like to present ourselves, and how we are supposed to behave in certain social context and associates. «Have I ever spoken properly?» investigates and demonstrates our social acts in the performing-arts format through the integration of design and applies the theory of proxemics to the spatial design of performance.

About Kihako

Kihako moved from Japan to Europe in 2002 and has worked at theatres as a dancer. In 2016 she became a freelance choreographer and artistic director. Her performances challenge and thereby investigate spatial and social behavior patterns. With her study at the Masterstudio she continued to explore spatial theories by integrating choreographic methods.
