Speaking about Taboos is difficult in our society. This is an experimental film that investigate if audiences will be able to find out which Taboos the performances are “speaking” about through body and sound. We decided to „speak“about taboo topics through performances and specifically through emotional expressions of the body. We wanted to show how different body parts react to the portrayed taboo topics by focusing on the hands, feet, mouth and eye movements. We were inspired by the graphical concept of the performance „Not I“ by Samuel Beckett and chose to revisit it. The performance focuses on the following taboo topics: Mental health, Men never cry, Rape taboo and racisme.
